M/LK Education Search is currently working with an ‘Outstanding’ SEN School in South West London to appoint an aspiring leader as their Headteacher.

The school is an inclusive educational provision for children with Autism and is split into two sites, supporting education for Primary and Secondary students. The school is a co-educational, independent day school created specifically to provide unique, contemporary, and enjoyable learning experiences for young people aged 5 – 16 years. The campus has recently undergone significant investment and boasts a spacious and creative environment for children to learn in.

There are 7 classes: 3 Primary and 4 Secondary, each with capacity for 6 children. Teaching is guided by the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) including Skinners Analysis of Verbal Behaviour. Each pupil receives an individually devised programme based on a pupil centred, multi professional approach to learning, aimed at increasing communication and independence and delivered in 1:1 sessions by a trained ABA tutor.

This is a rare chance for an aspiring Headteacher to join an ‘Outstanding’ school (OFSTED 2019) and pair with a supportive CEO to grow and continuously develop to make a significant difference to the lives of it’s students.

The successful candidate will oversee a fantastic team of 60 staff and 4 Assistant Heads. You will have a proven track record of successful leadership (not necessarily as a Headteacher) and have worked within a similar SEND setting.

You will be able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, along with a ‘can-do’ attitude. An in-depth knowledge of health and safety procedures, school inspection, curriculum and safeguarding is essential.
